PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper further reducing stimulation to skins around leg-encircling parts of a wearer while surely preventing the leakage of excretory substances.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 10 is provided with sheet-shaped leg-encircling expanding/contracting sections 100 that extend in the product lengthwise direction L at a region to which leg-encircling indentations 35 is formed, and has portions that can expand/contract along at least the product lengthwise direction L.
