PURPOSE: An artificial sculpture using waste styrofoam, and a producing method thereof are provided to easily process the artificial sculpture, and to activate the growth of plants on the artificial sculpture. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of an artificial sculpture using waste styrofoam comprises the following steps: processing the waste styrofoam for a fishing gear into a shape of the artificial sculpture； spreading sodium chloride or a sodium chloride solution, and cement on the processed waste styrofoam； mixing cement mortar or waste stone powder, with a binder； and spreading the obtained mixture to the waste styrofoam.본 발명은 어구용 폐스티로폼을 이용한 인공 조형물의 제조방법 및 그로부터 제조된 인공 조형물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 인공 조형물은 어구용 폐스티로폼을 이용함으로써 어구용 폐스티로폼으로 인한 환경 오염을 예방하고 자원을 재활용하는 장점이 있으며, 어구용 폐스티로폼에 의하여 원하는 크기와 모양으로 쉽게 가공 제작할 수 있고, 돌과 같이 단단하고 수명이 반영구적이면서도 가벼우며, 수목 식재를 하는 경우 어구용 폐스티로폼에 함유되어 있는 양분으로 식재된 수목의 성장이 활성화되고 동절기에도 외부 온도에 영향을 적게 받아 수목의 생장이 용이한 장점이 있다.
