PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marker for detecting triple negative breast cancer to provide a method for detecting or diagnosing the triple negative breast cancer with the marker and to provide a kit for detecting or diagnosing the triple negative breast cancer.SOLUTION: SCRG1 gene which is low in expression level in Luminal A, Luminal B and HER2 diseases and rises the expression level in the triple negative breast cancer on the other hand among the sub-types of breast cancer, and a polypeptide encoded by the gene are used as markers for detecting the triple negative breast cancer. A probe for detecting the triple negative breast cancer marker gene and an antibody for the polypeptide encoded by the gene are used.
