Provided is a portable insect cage that can easily switch between a folding form and a use form, and also has water retention. A part of the peripheral wall part 1 is provided with a net part 3, the entire area of the peripheral wall part other than the net part is constituted by a sheet material 12, and the entire top surface part and the bottom part are formed by a board material 13. The peripheral wall portion can be deformed to have a folded form, and the top surface part, the bottom surface part, and the mesh part are urged to return from the folded form to the use form.
