PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilization method for fixing two bone fragments with a bone plate.SOLUTION: A bone stabilization system includes a bone plate having an upper surface and a lower surface configured to be in contact with bone, the bone plate having an opening 20J extending from the upper surface to the lower surface. The opening 20J is configured to receive a fastener, which may be either a locking fastener or a compression fastener.
