PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel treatment device capable of preventing a blood vessel of a stenosis lesion region from being overheated, and performing a safe and appropriate blood vessel treatment.SOLUTION: In a heating step S1 for increasing the temperature of a balloon 7 inserted into a blood vessel to a target temperature (65°C), control means 4 compares an increase gradient TS1 of a temperature which is a predetermined reference with an increase gradient TSX of a temperature of a contrast medium 8 being currently heated. If there is a difference between them, the control means 4 decreases or increases the output of a laser beam which is a heating source for the contrast medium 8 so that the difference becomes smaller (feedforward control).
