PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic which is excellent in a thick feeling at the time of application and sustainability of moisture retention effect, has good compatibility to skin and no stickiness, and does not exert adverse effect to the finishing and sustainability of makeup.SOLUTION: An oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic comprises: (A) 0.1 to 5 wt.% of one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of monoalkyl glyceryl ether and monoalkenyl glyceryl ether (B) 1 to 20 wt.% of ester of dimer acid and (C) 0.1 to 8 wt.% of a nonionic surfactant.
