To provide a puncture aid and a hemostatic tool comprising the puncture aid, the puncture aid enabling mitigation of a burden applied on a patient in a manipulation of inserting a medical tool into a palm artery via a puncture site formed on the patient's hand and enabling an operator to smoothly proceed with the manipulation.SOLUTION: A puncture aid 100 comprises: a coverage member 110 for covering an external surface of a patient's hand H； and a connection member 150 disposed on a portion of the coverage member. The coverage member includes: a fitting part 120 to be disposed on a thumb f1 of the patient； a coverage part 130 for covering at least part of the patient's hand； and a first hole 131a and second hole 131b that are located on the coverage part to expose portions of the external surface of the patient's hand.
