PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair approach announcing device which is easy for a person around a wheelchair to recognize visually and never surprises nor injures a person around the wheelchair even in contact with him or her.SOLUTION: The device comprises: a body which is made of a soft member with elasticity, provided so as to surround the front of a wheelchair and the legs of a wheelchair rider, and deformable in contact with a person around the wheelchair and a fitting part for fitting the body to the wheelchair.
