A device (100) for generating an inhalable aerosol comprising:(a) a mouthpiece； (b) a body coupled to the mouthpiece； (c) an electronic heater (105) within said body configured to heat a viscous vaporizable material and generate an inhalable aerosol； (d) a battery (103) within said body； (e) a temperature regulator within said body, and (f) programming that provides three modes of operation which include a standby mode, an active mode and an off mode.
