[Problem] To provide an agricultural and horticultural bactericide or the like which contains a bactericidal copper compound, and reduces spray-staining of parts of the plant such as the leaves and fruit following spraying of the plant. [Solution] Spray-staining of parts of the plant such as the leaves and fruit following spraying of the plant is reduced by using an agricultural and horticultural bactericide formulated with the following as essential constitutional components: a bactericidal copper compound exhibiting a controlling effect against plant disease, an anionic surfactant, an organic acid and/or an organic salt, and a water-soluble ammonium salt.
