PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence/absence sensor device achieving reduction of power consumption.SOLUTION: A presence/absence sensor device includes a living body monitoring sensor 10 for detecting a biological vibration of a living body, and generating a biological signal on the basis of the biological vibration, a micro-controller 50 for performing presence/absence determination on whether or not the living body is present based on the biological signal, and a timer 40 for generating an activate signal for switching modes between an active mode in which the micro-controller 50 performs the presence/absence determination, and a sleep mode in which the micro-controller stops the presence/absence determination temporarily.
