PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sustained release material for tissue recovery, which allows for sustained release of a platelet derived component, having an excellent effect for facilitating tissue recovery.SOLUTION: The sustained release material for tissue recovery comprises: a biologically absorptive porous substrate formed of collagen and/or gelatin and a decomposition product of platelet supported by the biologically absorptive porous substrate. Preferably the decomposition product of platelet is concentrated. Preferably the biologically absorptive porous substrate is a composite of collagen and gelatin.
