PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably set a brake shoe between a brake enabling state and a brake disabling state.SOLUTION: A spool brake device 25 includes a brake shoe 64, a brake drum 66, and a rotary member 62. The brake shoe 64 can change an attitude between a brake enabling attitude of making it possible to brake the rotation of a spool 14 and a brake disabling attitude of making it impossible to brake the rotation of the spool 14. The brake drum 66 can come into contact with the brake shoe 64 in the brake enabling attitude. The rotary member 62 rotates in conjunction with the rotation of the spool 14. The rotary member 62 has a swing shaft 63c. The swing shaft 63c swingably support the brake shoe 64 in the brake enabling attitude.
