The invention relates to antibacterial composites which include an antibacterial agent encapsulated in β-cyclodextrin with surface modification by long carbon-chain molecules to provide a use of inhibition of harmful bacterial. With the difference of hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties of antibacterial composites and resin substrates, the antibacterial composites can remain on the surface of the resin substrates to enhance the concentration of antibacterial composites on the surface of the resin substrates for increasing the antibacterial effect. Also, a method for manufacturing the antibacterial composites is provided.本發明係有關一種抑菌複合物，將抑菌劑包覆於經長碳鏈分子表面修飾之β-環糊精中，藉此提供抑制有害菌之用途，β-環糊精經表面修飾接枝長碳鏈分子，因最終抑菌複合物與塑膠基材親疏水特性差異，可使抑菌複合物停留於塑膠基材表面，以增加此一抑菌複合物於塑膠基材表面的濃度而提高抑菌效果。本發明亦有關一種抑菌複合物的製造方法。
