FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: device for plasty in case of inguinal hernias is presented in form of synthetic mesh prosthesis with frame, which is fastened to it by specific method and oriented by specific way, for giving flat shape to synthetic mesh prosthesis in wound. Frame is made from biologically inert wire with thickness, commensurate to thickness of pores of synthetic mesh prosthesis, and is demountable. It is fastened to synthetic mesh prosthesis, passing free ends of frame through pores of the latter. In its base frame has shape of letter U with two parallel parts and one arched part, transitional between them. Parallel parts in fastened condition are directed along long sides of synthetic mesh prosthesis. Demountable frame is made from elastic wire, with shape-memory property. Rectilinear 0.5-2.0 cm long rod, made from same wire, from which demountable frame is made, deviates from the middle of arch-like part of demountable frame outwards and parallel to parallel parts of frame. Rectilinear rod is twisted from double-folded wire of middle section of arched part of demountable frame Parallel parts of demountable frame, with 0.5-2.0 cm indent from their ends, have stoppers, which do not pass through pores of synthetic mesh prosthesis.
