PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trunks type disposable diaper in which, a front leg periphery elastic member and rear leg periphery elastic member cross and are substantially continuous along leg openings, and fitness is not reduced at a part containing a cross position of the front leg periphery elastic member and rear leg periphery elastic member.SOLUTION: The invention is configured so that, in a pattern in which at least one of front leg periphery elastic members 27 and at least one of rear leg periphery elastic members 26 cross on both sides of a width direction WD of an intermediate area 22 which is an area between an edge 29 of one leg opening and an edge 29 of the other leg opening, the front leg periphery elastic members 27 and the rear leg periphery elastic members 26 are attached.
