PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for making heteromultimeric molecules, such as bispecific antibodies, and compositions comprising the molecules.SOLUTION: The method includes introducing substitutions in amino acids that are in contact at the interface between two polypeptides so that such substitutions result in altered electrostatic interactions between ion pairs.
