CONSTITUTION: An ultraviolet ray air sterilizer comprises an air inlet (2n) which is arranged on the upper part of the ultraviolet ray irradiation area of an internal space by an air conduit (2) which vertically penetrates the bottom plate (1b) of the body (1) of the sterilizer, and an air outlet (3u) which is arranged on the lower part of the ultraviolet ray irradiation area by a discharge pipe (3) which vertically penetrates the upper plate (1a) of the body. Air is convected and delayed in the ultraviolet ray irradiation area.공기 살균기에 관한 것으로 통체(1)의 내주면에 광촉매(T)가 도포되고 복수개의 자외선램프(UVR)가 배치된 살균기(S)의 통체(1)의 하부판(1b)을 수직으로 관통된 공기도관(2)에 의해 통체 내부공간의 자외선 영역(a)의 상부 측에 공기 유입구(2n)를 위치시키고 통체(1)의 상부판(1a)을 수직으로 관통한 배출관(3)에 의해 상기 자외선 조사영역(a)의 하부 측에 공기 배출구(3u)를 위치시키어 상기 공기 유입구(2n)와 공기 배출구(3u) 사이에서 상승기류가 없어 공기가 지체될 수 있게 구성된 것이다.본 발명에 의하면 살균기 통체(1)의 내부에 유입된 공기는 대류작용을 하면서 지체되기 때문에 공기의 살균에 유효한 충분한 자외선량을 조사하게 되어 살균효과가 높고 구조가 간단하며 소음이 없어 친환경적으로 생활공간의 공기를 청결하게 살균처리 할 수 있다.
