The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating dry eye syndrome or ophthalmologic diseases caused by the dry eye syndrome, comprising imatinib as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to eye drops for preventing or treating dry eye syndrome or ophthalmologic diseases caused by the dry eye syndrome, comprising imatinib as an active ingredient.
