Use of robenidine, or a therapeutically acceptable salt thereof and a compound or agent that removes or substantially removes or reduces the integrity of the cell wall of a bacteria, in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of a bacterial colonisation or infection in a subject wherein the compound or agent is chosen from the list comprising: β-lactams, fosfomycin, lysozyme, polymyxins, chelating agents, and/or immunological agents.
