PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based deodorant composition reducing the smell of sweat and sebum on clothes and increasing a sticking rate to an object even when used by spraying.
SOLUTION: The deodorant composition contains (a) 0.001 mass% or more of glyceryl ether having the hydrocarbon radical of the total carbon number 6-18 and (b) 0.001-0.5 mass% of a water-soluble cellulose derivative whose weight average molecular weight is 10,000-5,000,000.
