The invention aims to provide oil-in-water type emulsification cosmetic which has not greasy feeling, but has good moisturized sense of touch, can permeate through the skin and achieve the soft effect, and also has good ageing stability. The cosmetic is matched with (a) sorbitan polyethenoxy ether fatty acid ester of straight chain saturated fatty acid, which comes from the fatty acid and of which the number of carbon atoms is 14 to 18, (b) an anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant of which the I.O.B. value is more than or equal to 1.6, and (c) a non-branching high alcohol of which the number of carbon atoms is 14 to 22, and as required, the cosmetic is also matched with (d) glycerol mono alkyl ester, glycerol mono alkyl ether, sorbitan mono alkyl ester, sorbitan mono alkyl ether and sterol or branching high alcohol, and the mol ratio of (a), (b) and (c) comprises that: the mol ratio of (a) to (b) is 1:0.1-1:1, and the mol ratio of (a) plus (b) to (c) plus(d) is 1:3-1:6, but the mol ratio of (c) to (c) plus (d) is more than or equal to 0.3.
