PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device capable of reducing an unnecessary load applied to an object by bending force and twisting force, by acquiring the bending force and twisting force applied to the object.SOLUTION: The medical device is so configured that a pair of grip pieces 12 are rotationally supported by a support shaft 14 so as to be able to open/close the tip end portions 12A thereof. The pair of grip pieces 12 include triaxial force sensors 16 coaxially disposed at the tip end portions 12A thereof, while facing each other, for individually detecting compressive force and shear force applied to the respective tip end portions 12A. The pair of triaxial force sensors 16 are connected respectively, to a signal processing part 30 for processing fed force signals.
