The present invention provides a device (1) for assisting a cough comprising a hosing (3), a chamber (5) formed in the housing, a mouthpiece (7) communicating with the chamber and exposed out of the housing, and an electromagnetic valve (9) assembly for opening or closing the chamber at a pre-set frequency. The device for assisting a cough according to the present invention may produce a high cough pressure and thus form a strong cough airflow to loose and cough the lung mucus out of the airways, and may prevent the collapse of the patient's airway caused by the rapid release of the cough pressure.La présente invention concerne un dispositif (1) fournissant une assistance à la toux et comprenant un boîtier (3), un compartiment (5) formé dans le boîtier, un embout buccal (7) relié au compartiment et exposé à l'extérieur du boîtier, et un ensemble électrovanne (9) servant à ouvrir et fermer le compartiment à un rythme prédéfini. Le dispositif d'assistance à la toux selon la présente invention peut produire une forte pression de toux et ainsi générer un flux d'air de toux important permettant de déloger les mucosités bronchiques et de les expulser hors des voies respiratoires par la toux, et peut permettre d'éviter une défaillance des voies respiratoires du patient résultant de la libération rapide de la pression de toux.
