Ophthalmic surgical manual unit, comprising: a drive connected to a speaker, the speaker connected to a needle, an aspiration pump that is integral with the manual unit, while the aspiration pump is located next to the needle; as well as a rigid section of the suction line located between the suction pump and the needle. 2. The manual unit according to claim 1, further comprising: an aspiration pressure sensor located between the suction pump and the needle. The manual unit according to claim 1, further comprising: an exhaust valve located in parallel with the suction pump, while the exhaust valve is configured to adjust the vacuum generated by the suction pump. The manual unit according to claim 1, further comprising: a movable link meshed with the flexible portion of the suction line, wherein the position of the movable link relative to the flexible portion of the suction line determines flow that reduces the vacuum pressure in the hard portion of the suction line.
