PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for counting products, in particular, eggs, and in particular, a counting device for acquiring added data, which enables inductive estimation of manufacturing flow, and for example, a manufacturing failure due to animal disease or the like.SOLUTION: This invention relates to the device for counting objects, in particular, eggs. The counting device includes: many first detectors, wherein each of the first detectors has a locally limited detecting area and can catch electromagnetic radiation, light of a visible or infrared area from the detecting area, and is arranged side by side to one another in a first line and a processing unit configured so as to be connected to the first detectors, process signals of the first detectors, and confirm the existence of an object in the detecting area of the first detectors on the basis of respective signals of the first detectors.
