PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter-equipped pen type syringe in which a dose setting part spirally retreats to set a dose by rotating the dose setting part.SOLUTION: A pen type syringe includes: a housing part a cylindrical dose setting part spirally retreating in the axial direction of the pen type syringe by normally rotating inside the housing part and an injection button part in a rear end of the dose setting part. The housing part has a ring-shaped counter part including ratchet teeth in an inner face, and the dose setting part has, on a cylindrical side face, a projection part energized outward. When setting a dose, the dose setting part spirally retreats inside the housing part, so that the projection part also spirally retreats inside the housing part.
