The invention relates to a method for producing an attachment (2) intended to form part of an orthodontic appliance and comprising a recess (4) for receiving an orthodontic arch. During a first step, an attachment blank (1) is produced, comprising an attachment portion (3) of standardised configuration and dimensions and a base portion (5). During a second step, the base portion is shaped in order to provide the attachment (2) with a customised configuration developed in accordance with the configuration of the tooth (6) on which the attachment (2) is to be placed and the desired position of the recess (4) after the attachment (2) has been secured to the tooth (6). The invention also relates to the resulting attachment blank (1) and attachment and to an orthodontic appliance including said attachment.Procédé de fabrication dune attache (2) destinée à faire partie dun appareil orthodontique et comportant un logement (4) pour la réception dun arc orthodontique.
