The present invention comprises a bioactive paper consisting of secondary cellulose fibres in combination with brown algae biomass, and an antimicrobial extract obtained from brown algae. The method for producing said bioactive paper and the use thereof to protect fruit and vegetables against oxidative stress from the air, bacterial attack and, mainly, phytopathogenic fungi, thereby allowing damage prevention during the storage and transport thereof, is also described.La presente tecnología comprende un papel bioactivo compuesto por fibras secundarias de celulosa en combinación con biomasa de algas pardas, y un extracto antimicrobiano, obtenido de algas pardas. También se presenta el proceso para producir este papel bioactivo y su uso para proteger frutas y vegetales contra el estrés oxidativo del aire, el ataque bacteriano y principalmente frente a hongos fitopatógenos, permitiendo la prevención de daños durante su almacenamiento y transporte.La présente invention concerne un papier bioactif composé de fibres secondaires de cellulose en combinaison avec la biomasse d'algues brunes, et un extrait antimicrobien, obtenu à partir de celles-ci. Elle concerne également le procédé de production de ce papier bioactif et son utilisation pour protéger les fruits et les légumes contre le stress oxydatif de l'air, l'attaque bactérienne et principalement face aux champignons phytopathogènes, permettant la prévention de dommages durant le stockage et le transport.
