PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To screen therapeutic agents for Chtop associated-diseases.SOLUTION: A sample substance is brought into contact with mRNA in which a nucleic acid region which comprises the Chtop-binding site in the intron 2 (Int2) of a Chtop gene and/or the Chtop-binding site in the exon 2 (Ex2) of a Chtop gene is transcribed.
