PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dry noodles of a rod shape, that can be eaten only by being soaked in hot water.SOLUTION: Water is added to flour and salt, and kneading is performed to make noodles. Raw thin noodles C are put in an autoclave A of high temperature and high pressure and heated with steam (D-use) for about five minutes inside the autoclave with an internal temperature of at least 100°C or at least 126°C and a steam pressure of from at least 0 atm to at least 2 atm, for example.
