PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging apparatus equipped with a function to create information for evaluating a coupling state of a tissue boundary and display the information.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wave is transmitted to an examination object, and the ultrasonic wave from the examination object is received to acquire a reception signal. Information is calculated from the reception signal on a blood flow in each of an inner region 201 located inside a boundary 210 and an outer region 202 located outside the boundary with the predetermined boundary in the examination object in between. Differences in the calculated information are obtained, and an image is created for displaying the magnitude of the differences as information indicating a coupling state of the tissues inside and outside the boundary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
