The angle indicator (2) provides to hospital staff the information of the inclination of the movable section of the bed (1) according to the horizontal plane. The staff can easily position the bed (1) for example at 30° angle, when position the patient in the cardiac position.La présente invention concerne un indicateur d'angle (2) intégré dans un côté (3) de lit (1) afin de maintenir un patient en position horizontale, lequel indicateur d'angle comprend une source de lumière (8) reliée à une unité de processeur (9). L'unité de processeur (9) traite des signaux provenant des capteurs (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) du lit (1), tel qu'un capteur (10) de hauteur de soutien de patient, un capteur (11) de poids, un accéléromètre (13), le capteur (12) de position de côté (3), un capteur (14) d'alimentation externe, un capteur (15) de freinage ou un moniteur (16) des signes vitaux et évalue les états prédéfinis de ces capteurs par arrêt, modification de la couleur ou ajustement de l'intensité du rétroéclairage de l'indicateur d'angle (2). L'indicateur d'angle (2) fournit au personnel hospitalier l'information relative à l'inclinaison de la section mobile du lit (1) par rapport au plan horizontal. Le personnel peut facilement positionner le lit (1), par exemple à un angle de 30°, lorsqu'il place le patient en position cardiaque.
