PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher, capable of smoothing transporting a material to be selected by a selector by controlling the direction of wind generated by rotation of a threshing cylinder.SOLUTION: A thresher includes: a threshing cylinder 16 a plurality of threshing teeth 22 a selector and a direction adjusting member 76. The threshing cylinder 16 rotates on an axis 17. The threshing teeth 22 are formed flat substantially parallel to the axis 17 of the threshing cylinder 16, tapered as they go toward the tip, and provided in the periphery of the threshing cylinder 16. The selector includes a n oscillating separation part 37. The oscillating separation part 37 is disposed below the threshing cylinder 16 to select a material to be treated while transporting the material in the direction substantially parallel to the axis 17 of the threshing cylinder 16.
