A coupling arrangement 1 for a device for steering an axle or axles on a trailed implement comprises a first coupling member 10 mountable on a base body 50 mountable on a towing vehicle. The coupling member 10 is releasably engageable with a second coupling member (20 see fig 1) to form an articulated joint for controlling the axle in accordance with movements of the towing vehicle. The second coupling member (20) is mountable on a device for steering an axle on a trailed implement. A latching means 60 cooperates with the coupling members to releasably lock the coupling members in their engagement. A catch member 30 is positionable by the latching means 60 adjacent the coupling members so as to prevent the members from disengaging from each other. The catch member 30 is also positionable away from the coupling members to enable disengagement of the coupling members. The arrangement has the advantage of automatic locking and unlocking.
