The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for displaying an amount of exercise. The apparatus for displaying an amount of exercise comprises: a motion measurement device for detecting a motion of a user with a six-axis or nine-axis sensor and wirelessly transmitting the motion； and an exercise amount display device in which an exercise determination and display control module for counting a state of repeated exercise as the number of the exercise within a range predetermined by analyzing data change amounts of each axis of received data is installed. The apparatus for displaying the amount of exercise is used regardless of kind of exercise, does not require a user to select a kind of exercise, can determine, count and display an exact number and amount of exercise, and comprises the exercise determination and display control module which is integrated with a display in the motion measurement device while excluding a communications module.본 발명은 운동량 표시장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 6축 또는 9축 센서에 의해 사용자의 움직임을 검출하여 무선송신하는 동작 측정기와, 수신데이터의 각 축의 데이터 변화량을 분석하여 미리 설정되는 범위 이내에서 반복되는 운동 상태를 운동 횟수로 카운트하여 표시하는 운동 판단 및 표시 제어모듈이 설치되는 운동량 표시단말기로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하며, 본 발명은, 특정운동으로 한정되어 있지 않으며 운동종목을 선택할 필요가 없는 점이 장점이 있고, 정확한 운동량 횟수를 판단하여 카운트 표시할 수 있다. 또한 본 발명은 통신모듈을 제외시키고, 동작측정기 내에 운동판단 및 표시제어모듈 및 디스플레이를 일체형으로 구성한 일체형 운동량 표시장치를 제공할 수 있다.
