A method for predicting the complicated course of the chronic obstructive lung disease provides for accounting a set of factors including the age, the first second forced expiratory volume, inhalation pharmacological test with measurement of the shift in forced expiratory volume. The additional factors of medical and life history are also accounted such as a number of the cigarettes per day, the duration of smoking. For the pharmacological test, Salbutamol is used as bronchodilatator. The first second forced expiratory volume is measured prior to test and in 15 minutes following the inhalation of 400 µg of Salbutamol. The strength of the respiratory muscles in expiration and inspiration is recorded by pneumotonometric method. Then 6-min walking test is provided for assessing the physical activity. The content of C-reactive protein in blood plasma is assessed by immunoturbodimetry. The data are further processed. The index of tobacco load is calculated for the lungs. The information determinants of life quality are assessed and scored in points upon questioning. The gradations of the statistically different parameters specifying the severe and non-severe forms are determined. The informativeness of each parameter is assessed and scored using classification registry. The points are summed starting from the most informative gradations. When the sum attains at least +13 points, the complicated course of the disease is predicted.Спосіб прогнозування обтяження перебігу хронічного обструктивного захворювання легенів включає встановлення віку за анамнестичним збором факторів ризику, вимір обсягу форсованого видиху за першу секунду, проведення фармакологічної проби інгаляційним шляхом, визначення зсуву обсягу форсованого видиху за першу секунду відносно початкового значення та математичну обробку виміряних параметрів, причому додатково при анамнестичному зборі факторів ризику зясовують симптоми, активність і вплив захворювання, як показники якості життя, кількість цигарок, в
