A disposable female urinal apparatus 1 comprising a funnel shaped body 2 formed from a moulded fibre material, the body including a wider receiving mouth 4 at one end narrowing along the length of the body to an outlet 6 at the opposing end, where the mouth is formed by a sealing rim 8 where the body of the funnel is curved back on itself. Preferably the mouth is substantially tear-drop shaped and the exposed edge of the rim points away from the user when in use. Preferably the rim is curved to better fit the shape of the pubic area. Preferably the device is made of a thermoformed or post-pressed fibre material. Preferably the body curves upwardly along its length towards the outlet end. The device allows a woman to urinate whilst standing.
