New derivatives of (1H-INDOL-3-ILMETIL) Dimethylamine with blocking activity of the voltage-dependent Ca {sup, 2 +} channels, preferably NO-L, and their application in the treatment of diseases of the nervous system. # { IMAGE-01} #The present invention relates to compounds of general formula (I), and their use in the manufacture of medicaments useful for the treatment of diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, such as neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, epilepsy , migraine, neuropathic pain or, in general, any disease caused by the alteration of the biological functions on which these products act. One of the therapeutic strategies to treat these diseases is the reduction of Ca {sup, 2 +} input through voltage-dependent Ca {sup, 2 +} (CCDV) channels. Thus, the compounds claimed in this invention regulate the homeostasis of Ca {sup, 2 +} in excitable cells, which is altered in these conditions. Among all types of CCDV, the compounds of general formula (I) preferably act by the so-called non-L, so they would lack peripheral side effects of hemodynamic type, where CCDV type L are predominant.
