Method of additional drying of grain consists in fact that grain is not sufficiently dried up to standard moisture content by 1.5…2 %, lied for 5–10 hours and ventilated by external air, wherein under-dried hot grains are moved to a warehouse, a bulk is formed, after breaking off grain is ventilated by external air and cooled to temperature by 1–2 °C, which is higher than ambient air temperature, after cooling, additional drying of grain is completed and next batch of grain is formed, wherein throughput of the dryer P is synchronized with the time of formation, filling and cooling of the embankment in the warehouse and is determined from the expression given in the claim, and ventilation by external air is carried out with a flow rate determined from the expression given in the claim.
