This invention relates to a planting brick. It includes a frame and a permeating portion which is made by a micro-porous material. This frame contains a front plate, an inner space, and two working sides that are at the top and the bottom respectively. The front plate has many through holes. Each working side has at least a connecting hole for connecting a connecting pipe. The permeating portion is disposed in the inner space and has many planting recesses corresponding to these through holes. One or more seeds can be placed in the planting recess. Therefore, when water is supplied from the top working side and enters the permeating portion via the upper connecting holes. Meanwhile, the permeating portion can absorb suitable water. The excess water would flow out via the connecting holes of the lower working side. Therefore, this invention can be installed on a vertical surface of a building. It can absorb carbon dioxide.
