The invention relates to a chopper for agriculture and forestry biomass which is included in an installation meant for shredding the agriculture and forestry solid biomass in the units for the exploitation and processing the plant debris as pellets and/or briquettes. According to the invention, the chopper comprises a driving shaft (1) mounted in a body (A), on the shaft (1) there being mounted a chopping disk (2) whereon there are radially fixed two types of hammers which rotate inside a circular sieve (3), fixed in the body (A) which is closed by means of a tilting door (B), whereon there is mounted a multiple of 4n hammers (4) and a feeding hole, the material to be shredded frontally entering the tilting door (B) being entrained by the mobile chopping disk (2) through the 2n pairs of mobile hammers (a and b) and the 4n fixed counter-hammers (4) of the door (B) with feeding hole, the shredded material passing through the holes cut in the cylindrical sieve (3) and being collected for utilization in the following steps of the process.Invenţia se referă la un tocător pentru biomasă agricolă şi forestieră, care face parte dintr-o instalaţie destinată mărunţirii biomasei solide agricole şi forestiere în unităţile de valorificare şi procesare a resturilor vegetale sub formă de peleţi şi/sau brichete.
