PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously generate nuclear magnetic resonance in a plurality of different types of nuclides.
SOLUTION: This nuclear magnetic resonance imaging apparatus is provided with excitation and detection coils disposed in the periphery of an imaging object, applies pulsed RF waves having a frequency equal to a resonance frequency to the excitation and detection coils to induce nuclear magnetic resonance in the imaging object, and outputs them as a detection signal or echo signal by the excitation and detection coils. This nuclear magnetic resonance imaging apparatus is provided with an RF pulse generator generating the RF pulse having the plurality of corresponding types of applicable frequencies for examining the plurality of different types of nuclides, and a receiver having a receiving band corresponding to the resonance frequency of the plurality of types of nuclides.
