PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for repelling birds by unprecedented new means incorporating a nature of verdigris generated in copper or a copper-based alloy.SOLUTION: In a device for repelling birds coming flying, a main body is configured by molding copper or a copper-based alloy into a plate of a predetermined length in an arched cross-sectional shape and fitting holes are provided at predetermined intervals in flange parts extended horizontally on both sides of the main body in a longitudinal direction, employing means for fixing verdigris on a surface thereof. Then, the device employs any of means including means for making the arched shape of the main body a substantially semicircular shape, means for making the arched shape a flat shape with a low height relative to its breadth, and means for making the arched shape a semicircular shape in the vicinity of a peak and a linear shape at both ends thereof extended to be a tangent. There is also employed means for forming the main body into a shape with a ridge line in an upper edge sandwiched by inclined planes of different lengths in place of the arched shape.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】銅や銅系合金に発生する緑青の性質を取り入れた、今までにない新しい手段によって鳥を忌避する装置を提供する。【解決手段】鳥類飛来忌避装置において、銅または銅系合金を成型して、所定長さの板状で、その断面形状がアーチ型の本体を構成し、その本体の長手方向の両側に鍔部を水平に延設して、この鍔部に所定間隔をおいて取り付け孔を設けてなり、その表面に緑青を定着するという手段を採用した。そして、上記本体のアーチ型が、ほぼ半円状であるという手段、アーチ型が、その横幅に対して高さを相対的に低くした扁平状であるという手段、アーチ型が、頂点近くが半円状で、その両側が延長した接線となる直線状であるという手段のいずれかを採用した。また、上記本体の形状を、アーチ型に代え、上縁を稜線としてこれを挟む長さの異なる斜面からなる形状とするという手段を採用した。【選択図】図1
