PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunscreen composition, which is excellent in water resistance, gentle to the skin, and stable to ultraviolet rays.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a sunscreen composition comprising two or more oil-soluble ultraviolet absorbers and composite silicone particles having an average particle size of 10 μm or less. The sunscreen composition does not contain a metal oxide. In the sunscreen composition, the oil-soluble ultraviolet absorber is at least two selected from ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, octocrylene, hexyl diethylaminohydroxybenzoylbenzoate, and polysilicone-15. In the sunscreen composition, the silicone particles are composite silicone particles in which spherical silicone rubber is coated with a silicone resin. In the sunscreen composition, the content of the oil-soluble ultraviolet absorber is 10% by weight or more in total.
