PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct troubles such as twisting and the like of transmission elements caused by functionating non-uniform speed members in a rice transplanter having a rotary type seedling planting device.SOLUTION: Non-uniform speed members 48, 56, 121, 122, 98, 99 transmitting non-uniform rotational power to a transplanting mechanism 8 are installed by separating the same into upstream non-uniform speed members 48, 56, 121, 122 on the inter-row spacing speed-changing device 26 side and downstream non-uniform speed members 98, 99 on the seedling planting device side. The upstream non-uniform speed members 48, 56, 121, 122 are switchable between multiple gears and the acceleration/deceleration ratios for each gear are brought to be different, and the downstream non-uniform speed members 98, 99 are formed in a single gear.
