PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting nucleic acid having a simple operation and improved specificity in comparison with a conventional nucleic acid detection technique and general-purpose properties applicable to many kinds of nucleic acids. SOLUTION: This method for detecting or determining a target nucleic acid in a sample having a fixed sequence by using a carrier to which an artificially selected probe group is fixed as a solid phase to detect the nucleic acid and to improve specificity of hybridization.
