Disclosed is an artificial blood vessel (10) which comprises: a shaft part (12) which has a blood vessel connected to each end access branch parts (14, 16) which branch out from the shaft part and a shunt branch part (18). A solid cylindrical access port (20) is disposed in the access branch parts (14, 16) and shuts off these branch parts. The access port (20) has a solid central part (22) and a tube-shaped peripheral part (24) disposed such as to enclose the central part (22). The peripheral part (24) is harder than the central part (22) such that a needle will not move from inside the center part (22). As a result, it is possible to easily carry out the puncturing involved in a treatment method where a blood vessel is frequently punctured.
