A medical treatment administration system for delivering a medical treatment to a patient. The system has a medical device, an electronic processor coupled to the medical device, and a sensor coupled to the processor. The sensor receives one or more signals which it transfers to the processor. The signals can be derived from the patients physiological condition and/or the environment of the patient. The processor receives the signals and performs a calculation of the signal. Based on the result of the calculation, the processor regulates the distribution of medical treatment to the patient over a period of time.
